Traffic chaos around hospital
PATIENTS have reported running hours late for appointments at Wythenshawe Hospital after road closures caused traffic chaos.
Floats Road and Dobbinetts Lane, near the hospital, are closed for essential electricity work scheduled until the end of the month.
Local residents and people with appointments at the hospital say the closures have proved a nightmare.
The entrance to the maternity wing was badly affected - with queues of more than an hour for the car park.
The roadworks were due to finish on January 31, but a spokesperson for Electricity North West said the work could finish today.
