Channel 4, 8pm THERE could be some rather red faced celebrities after tonight’s Dispatches special investigation.
In what will no doubt be a revelatory exposé, reporter Antony Barnett sets up a fake charity to investigate celebs charging huge fees to support charities.
Going undercover, he reveals how some of the most famous people in Britain are profiting from the work they do for charity.
Producers of Dispatches have announced they will reveal a shocking list of big-name stars and the fees they charge. Incredibly, many stars from the world of reality TV, sport and entertainment – and we’ve been told, one of the most famous women in the world – all agree to back the fake charity in return for cash.
In an exclusive poll, Dispatches also finds out what the public really thinks about celebs cashing in on charities.
Well, we can’t imagine anyone is that thrilled about it…

ITV, 9pm THINGS are looking fairly bleak for Laura (Joanne Froggatt), who was last seen being thrown in jail for Andrew Earlham’s murder. His car key was in her bedside drawer, but she has no idea how it got there.
Now she’s dragged in for questioning by the brilliantly awful DI Renton, played by a scene-stealing Katherine Kelly.
Even the way Renton chews her gum makes you want to punch her.
She pulls a cheap trick to unnerve Laura. Thank goodness Laura has a top lawyer, played by Fleabag’s Sian Clifford.
But a further revelation from the evidence room doesn’t help the case.
Meanwhile, back in the past, everything continues to unravel for Andrew (Ioan Gruffudd), who is relying on a friend, Oliver, to bring him his passport and cash. But Oliver brings Andrew some devastating news, leading him to make a reckless excursion.
It’s a tense instalment from the thriller that will no doubt keep us guessing until the end.
