FROM the first explosion of flour to the very last squealing celebrity, this has been a thoroughly entertaining series.
Sadly this is the final episode, starring TV personality Carol Vorderman, radio presenter Kelly Brook, TV judge Rob Rinder and comedian Mo Gilligan as this week’s idiot bakers.
Mostly they don’t have a clue. “Do we have to do exactly what the recipe says?” asks Kelly.
Their first task is to make 12 identical sandwich biscuits. Concoctions include a breakfast egg muffin effort and biscuits that look like smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels.
Then they must make six perfectly iced buns filled with cream and jam. “They’re quite tricky but I think everyone deserves a laugh,” smirks Paul Hollywood.
And finally, their showstopper is a 3D guilty pleasure cake. Watch out for everything from a champagne bath to erotic books in sponge form.
But who will win Star Baker and who will be fifty shades of red-faced?
