CREAMY CONCEALERS TO HIDE DARK CIRCLES
DIOR FOREVER SKIN CORRECT
£25, JOHN LEWIS
IT’S a big tube, so it’ll last for ages – thankfully, because we love it! It does a great job of covering the blueish tinges under eyes, without creasing during the day. It also brightens and gives skin a nice, fresh glow.
MILANI CONCEAL + PERFECT LONGWEAR CONCEALER
£14.25, JUSTMYLOOK.COM
THIS offered a really impressive choice of shades, and it was great at covering dark circles. It feels quite thick to apply, but blends in easily and doesn’t crease too much. It took a while to get off with cleanser, but that’s an effort we’re willing to make!
HOURGLASS VANISH AIRBRUSH CONCEALER
£32, Harveynichols.com
THIS gives the perfect finish – not too matte, not too glowy – and does a great job of blurring fine lines. It sinks into the skin rather than sitting on it, so stays in place all day, and the oval-shaped wand makes it easy to apply precisely.
NYX BORN TO GLOW RADIANT CONCEALER
£9, LOOKFANTASTIC.COM
CERTAINLY gives an illuminated effect – great for under the eye – although the coverage is a little patchy. We are not fans of a sponge-tipped applicator that the product is squeezed out of, but this one is smaller and neater than most.
CATRICE COSMETICS ONE DROP COVERAGE CONCEALER
£4.49, JUSTMYLOOK.COM
WE loved the ultra-fluid texture, which blends beautifully and covers far more than you’d expect from such a feather-light formula. The effect is really flattering and illuminating. It was perfect for fair skin, but there needs to be a better shade range for darker tones.
