UNITED RATED

- BY SAMUEL LUCKHURST

DAVID DE GEA

Not for the first time, De Gea was porous at his near post and it led to goal. Conceded another penalty.

A WAN-BISSAKA

Unfortunate not to have added to his list of assists but could have done better for Bournemouth’s goal.

VICTOR LINDELOF

Weak for the cross that led to Stanislas scoring and came off at half-time for the hapless Eric Bailly.

HARRY MAGUIRE

Culpable for another goal when he rashly rushed to Stanislas and was nutmegged. Not a secure performance.

LUKE SHAW

An ever-present in attacks and diligent in defence. By far and away the least culpable of the backline.

NEMANJA MATIC

Not as fresh as in recent games and his pass that Eric Bailly handled was horrendous. Assisted Greenwood’s second.

PAUL POGBA

His quietest performance since he returned from injury but unassumingly effective at times just behind Fernandes.

BRUNO FERNANDES

Should have made it 1-0 but got too much on his lofted effort. Claimed two more assists before scoring.

MASON GREENWOOD

Scored with his left foot and scored with his right. Two stunning finishes from a player who is in the form of his life.

MARCUS RASHFORD

Should have claimed an assist when he played Fernandes in and put United ahead from the penalty spot for his 20th.

ANTHONY MARTIAL

Full of running but on the fringes until he curled in spectacularly for his 20th goal of the campaign.
