Fans mock singer after anti-vaccine rant on social media

-

STONE Roses frontman Ian Brown was mocked by fans after his latest anti-vaccine tweet.

The I Wanna Be Adored singer received a raft of ridicule on Twitter after boldly claiming he’d never sing to a crowd ‘who must be vaccinated as a condition of attendance’.

The 58-year-old rock star prompted a reaction from his followers as thoughts turned to gigs and concerts possibly returning this summer following Covid lockdown.

“I will NEVER sing to a crowd who must be vaccinated as a condition of attendance. NEVER EVER!” he shouted.

One Twitter user replied cheekily: “That’s up to Butlins surely?”

And another told him: “Well that’s absolutely ridiculous Ian Brown.

“Surely you wanna feel safe in an environment where possible infections may occur.”

And another replied: “I will NEVER attend a concert or listen to music by a band who do not want their audience to be as safe as possible. NEVER EVER!”

One fan mocked: “Don’t waste your words, we don’t need anything from you ...you wanna be ignored.”
