UNITED RATED

- BY SAMUEL LUCKHURST

DEAN HENDERSON

Handled aerial balls well and dealt with everything he faced. Had nothing to do until huge save at the death.

AARON WAN-BISSAKA

Much more adventurous on his old patch and a regular in the final third but struggled to provide the telling pass.

ERIC BAILLY

Reinforced credentials to remain Maguire’s main partner for the rest of the season. Did next to nothing wrong.

HARRY MAGUIRE

Started so sloppily he had Ed Woodward smacking a seat in exasperation. Had little to contend with.

LUKE SHAW

Offered width and got into plenty of crossing positions but his delivery rarely caused Palace problems.

FRED

Made United tick with his zippy passing in a much-improved performance. Sacrificed for a goal-getter in McTominay.

NEMANJA MATIC

Went close to getting the breakthrough with a deflected shot that was tipped over. Offered balance in midfield.

MASON GREENWOOD

So greedy and kept on running down blind alleys. Chastised by Fernandes for his selfishness. A bit better in the second half.

BRUNO FERNANDES

Did not get into the game and when that happens United struggle. Became increasingly frustrated and looks tired.

MARCUS RASHFORD

Wasted another gilt-edged chance when he fired wide in first half and got little right. Constantly ran into defenders.

EDINSON CAVANI

Blazed over when well placed and that was not his first glaring miss of the season. Taken off in the 78th minute.
