HOT off the back of Ant & Dec’s DNA journey, six more celebrities embark on a lifechanging road trip to uncover their family history.

Everyone has a banter buddy or shoulder to cry on as they take the trip in pairs, following bloodlines and even occasionally meeting relatives they never knew existed.

In episodes to come, Amanda Holden and Alan Carr hit the road, as well as father and son Martin and Roman Kemp.

This time, close friends Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff discover each other’s ancestry

using DNA and genealogy.

“We’re both proud dads. Family is so key to us both,” says Jamie.

Referring to Fred’s mental health and his own battles, he adds: “There might be something in our DNA that gives us the traits that we have.”

Fred says: “I’ll probably find out I’m from a long line of bad people. Might explain a few things!”

As they head off on the motorway, Fred is soon panicking as he realises he’s heading to Yorkshire – as a proud Lancastrian, this is a big deal.

A surprise and royal connection is in store for one of them as they arrive at the Wakefield Mining Museum.

Jamie’s family journey takes him to the East End and a real bombshell – a notorious mystery that has remained unsolved for generations.

And there’s another shock as the lads visit Tottenham Hotspur to find a family link.

This is a fascinating tour, with plenty of revelations and humour, as well the odd emotional moment.
