FROM THE SHORE TO YOUR DOOR - ENJOY THE BEST UK CATCH

-

The North West is home to some of the UK’s best catch – from meaty lobster and crab to succulent plaice and monkfish. The quality and freshness of the locally caught seafood, available right here on our doorstep, is incredible.

Independent fishmonger Marple Fish has been bringing top quality seafood to the people of Stockport for over 12 years.

Located on Market Street in Marple, it specialises in top-quality seafood, offering a selection of fish and shellfish sourced daily from the UK coast. Each species is sustainably sourced and individually checked for quality and freshness.

Marple started a home delivery service last March to ensure homes across Stockport could access fresh seafood while in lockdown. Seafood direct to people’s doors has become a big hit with locals, with home deliveries still thriving in the area a year on.

Jamie Barrett, owner of Marple Fish, said: “The support from the community over the last year has been brilliant and we’re delighted that we can showcase and share some of the incredible species available from across the country.

“I started working with seafood as a 12-year-old and I’m proud that in the North West, we have access to some of the best local catch! Being down at the docks every day at 2am I can see first-hand how we truly have access to the very best here in the UK.”

“We want everyone to enjoy delicious seafood and we’re always encouraging the community to try new species and recipes. We’ve even started sharing recipes on our website to help even
