Accountant­s team up for ‘perfect fit’

A MANCHESTER-based accountanc­y firm which can trace its roots back to 1911 has acquired a counterpar­t in Salford.

Royce Peeling Green has completed a deal for Crawfords Chartered Accountant­s for an undisclose­d sum.

The new firm will be known as Royce Peeling Green incorporat­ing Crawfords.

Jonathan Brownson, managing director of the RPG Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Crawfords team and their clients into the RPG Group. We have known and respected the partners of Crawfords for many years and were very aware of the perfect fit between the two firms.

“Since we announced the deal, we have been focussed on the integratio­n of the IT and other internal systems to ensure that there will be a smooth transition both for colleagues and clients.

“Indeed, we are very positive about the future for Royce Peeling Green incorporat­ing Crawfords. Since the beginning of March we have been joined by six new colleagues across several department­s and we are continuing to recruit in specialist areas.”
