Accountants team up for ‘perfect fit’

A MANCHESTER-based accountancy firm which can trace its roots back to 1911 has acquired a counterpart in Salford.

Royce Peeling Green has completed a deal for Crawfords Chartered Accountants for an undisclosed sum.

The new firm will be known as Royce Peeling Green incorporating Crawfords.

Jonathan Brownson, managing director of the RPG Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Crawfords team and their clients into the RPG Group. We have known and respected the partners of Crawfords for many years and were very aware of the perfect fit between the two firms.

“Since we announced the deal, we have been focussed on the integration of the IT and other internal systems to ensure that there will be a smooth transition both for colleagues and clients.

“Indeed, we are very positive about the future for Royce Peeling Green incorporating Crawfords. Since the beginning of March we have been joined by six new colleagues across several departments and we are continuing to recruit in specialist areas.”
