Dubai is renowned for its incredible pools but there’s a new one that promises to take your swimming to new heights.

AURA Skypool will open next month and, at 656ft above Palm Jumeirah, it will be the world’s first and highest 360-degree infinity pool.

Guests at the 50th floor of the Palm Tower hotel and residences will be transported to an island in the sky featuring an 8,000 square foot deck with sunbeds and a lounge bar.

While they relax in their lofty escape they can take in uninterrupted views of Dubai landmarks including the Burj Al Arab hotel and the Burj Khalifa, at 2,722ft the world’s tallest building.

A spokesman said: ‘’AURA is truly unlike any other destination in the UAE and the world.

“It’s a breathtaking new destination that will continue to showcase the very best of Dubai.”

Tourists can pay from around £34 for a timed session in AURA, with sunbed, lounge access and a welcome pack.
