You can count on Shaun this weekend

A FLOCK of very colourful sheep has arrived at Tatton Park for a very special Easter trail.

A dozen super-sized Shaun the Sheep sculptures have been placed around the park for families to find.

Each one has been uniquely designed and painted by a group of artists from across the region and are on display now. On Easter Monday, Shaun himself will be making an appearance too.

The trail is the result of a collaboration with BAFTA award-winning production studio, Aardman, and global art producer, Wild in Art.

The sculptures have been positioned in the attraction’s iconic gardens and represent ‘a colourful celebration of everything visitors love about Tatton’s glorious gardens.’

Look out for a vegetable-adorned Shaun grazing in the Walled Kitchen Garden, and a blossoming Shaun framed by the Japanese Garden cherry blossoms. Visitors can pick up a trail sheet costing £1 and explore Tatton’s 50 acres of glorious spring gardens. If you can solve Shaun’s puzzle along the way, you can collect your reward sticker at the end of the trail. Find the Flock with Shaun the Sheep is on across the school holidays and will continue until June 23. Entry fees apply. On Monday he’ll be making regular appearances in the Stableyard, where there promises to be ‘lots of fun for all the family.’ Also running over Easter is Little Grey Fergie and Friends at the Farm, with little ones able to meet the YouTube sensation and his friends Clunky and Farmer George.

There are garden, mansion and farm trails to enjoy – all with chocolate rewards – an Easter silent disco, a pop-up Easter artisan market, Lambing Week from April 5 to 12 and much more.

Visit the website to book tickets.
