Welcome to the Prem!

It’s the Championship play-offs this fortnight, but one team that’s already looking forward to Prem promotion is FULHAM! We take a closer look at the Premier League new boys...

The Cottagers’ captain was out injured for ten months from December 2020 to October 2021, so it’s normal that he’s been a bit rusty this season! He’s still a real leader in the dressing room and has played over 40 Premier League games for the club in 2018-19 and 2020-21. They’ll need to draw on that experience!

Having the Serbia striker up front in the second tier has been like a cheat code for Fulham! He’s written himself into the history books this season by breaking Ivan Toney’s record of the most goals in a single Championship campaign. What’s even more impressive is that he reached Toney’s tally in 14 fewer games!

The Portuguese coach hasn’t had much luck in the Prem so far! He got relegated with Hull and was sacked by Watford and Everton, so he’s hoping things go better at Fulham. He’s already won over their supporters though with The Cottagers playing exciting, attacking footy under his leadership!

The Liverpool academy gem definitely has the quality to play in the Premier League! After tons of loan spells, The Reds finally let him leave permanently last summer – and he hasn’t looked back. He scored on his Fulham debut and has 10+ goals

AND assists this campaign!

Do we really need to remind you?! It was only last season when The Cottagers finished 18th in the Premier League table...

Just one victory from their last 13 fixtures saw them finish 11 points off 17th-placed Burnley!

Their best result of the campaign was their incredible 1-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield in March 2021!
