MINI SHREDDERS
Both my boys (6 & 7) are really getting into mountain biking and I’m wondering if you think bikes for this age category are better with rigid front forks?
I’ve read a few reviews saying front suspension isn’t worth it as the forks are poor quality and heavy. My eldest son has a Saracen Mantra 2.0 hardtail and loves it! Looking to buy my youngest a new bike for Christmas and I’d appreciate any advice.

Ed – You’re just about on the cusp of suspension becoming viable, but big-volume tyres are much cheaper and often more effective. Head to bit.ly/childrensbikes for our guide
to kids’ bikes.
