BUNNY HOPS

-

The best thing to do here is to ride with a friend and film each other on your phones. Play your bunny hop back. How much are you pushing and how much are you pulling? Ideally you want to be creating a powerful drive away from the ground and be doing very little in the air. The tell-tale sign of a rider pulling in the air is that their knees bend once they are off the ground. This means that they stop going up and actually start going back to the ground. You may very well think that you are lifting your bike up, but what’s actually happening is that your bike stays still and you start to go down. Instead try and move closer to your bike on the set up, and think about generating more of a push away from the ground. You should be able to push back up off the ground with powerful legs to the same neutral riding position that you started in. No straight elbows here.
