Last month we looked at how adopting the correct body position allows you to not only neutralise features on the trail, but also find more control and grip by driving your body weight back against larger features like jumps. Leaning into these deliberate areas of stability is the secret to a more fluid and modern style of riding that should allow you to create grip and stability in places where you’d normally be tempted to back away.

Expanding on the benefits of proper positionin­g, in this article we’re going to apply the same technique that you would now use to stabilise a jump, and show you how that should relate to different types of corners.
