A COMMON FEELING

-

A lot of riders who come to Dirt School voice similar frustrations. One of the most common ones is that they stall in corners. This can be for a number of reasons. Perhaps they are going in too fast? Or pulling on the brakes when they feel exposed? It might even be that their body position is limiting how much time or feedback the trail hits them with. The most common reason, and one that probably ties all of the others together, is that they don’t use their range of motion to adjust the weight that is being driven into the corner. If they did, then it would allow them to adjust their traction and momentum, all the while feeling like they are in control. Let’s break it down and see what all of those mean to the rider in question.
