DYNAMIC MOVEMENT

-

This could be dismissed as a fancy way of saying how a rider moves around on their bike, but it’s actually a lot more. It’s shorthand for not only the go-to stance that a rider makes on their bike, but how they move around within that position. Your position should be stable and powerful, and close enough to your bike that it allows you the range of motion to bend and straighten your legs. Dynamic movement means that while you are going round a corner you should be able to go from a low position where you are close to the bike, to a stronger, more upright position on the way out. All within that same stable shape. This will change depending on what type of corner you are in, so read on for more details in each.
