FASTER DROPS

-

Keeping your front end level when you go off a drop at speed is crucial to landing smoothly. This in turn will give you more stability and feel like you have more control and time to react to anything on the landing. Doing this at speed is relatively easy once you get the timing right. This is because you are only on the obstacle for a split second, so chucking your weight back will be enough to keep your front wheel from diving. Doing it at a slower speed will mean that you have to balance your wheel in the air for longer. This is a bit trickier. Spending a bit of time learning how to manual properly will help with this massively. This will mean that you can still get your front wheel up and keep it there even when you are going slowly – very handy if you’re facing a larger drop on something steep and techy.
