GOING FASTER
Speed comes from being a confident rider, and confidence comes from having control. In other words, don’t try and go fast. Try to ride smoothly, and with more control. Stick to this philosophy and with a little practice you’ll become a more confident rider, and quicker as a result. All the while with more time to react and less risk. To help with this, look for the obvious giveaways: braking late and stalling in corners, and making mistake after mistake. The next time you want to go faster on a trail instead of trying harder, why not stay composed and focus on tidy riding.
