“I’ve worked at Ard Rock since 2016, when I was only
16. It’s just been so nice to come back and see everyone again. Ard Rock has been a big part of my childhood really, the younger years when I was coming and helping out, and it’s always been many of the same bunch of friends that have worked on it together. We’re here behind the scenes before and after there are any riders around and it’s a proper family thing – like hanging out with some of my best mates really.
“I did get involved in the mosh pit last night I must admit – I was probably the main instigator when it all got a bit crazy.
“People are so happy to be back from what I’ve seen – the weather’s been mixed, but everyone is totally up for a good time and sitting down at the end of it all and whatever has happened out there on course, there are so many big smiles on people’s faces and they’re just so relieved to be able to ride with their mates again.”
