There is something special about arriving at a new riding destination in the dark. A

6am start saw us pedalling off alongside Loch Muick under starlit skies, drawing on nothing but our imagination and the beams of our head torches to slowly fill in the contours of the land around us. It wasn’t until we began our first descent down ‘A Streak of Lightning’ that the now-twilight conditions fully revealed any remaining unknowns and painted the day’s riding destination in front of us.
