Warnscale Bottom is one of my favourite UK descents. We got lucky with the light here, but it’s stunning on any day and also rocky as hell, and so technically challenging. It’s one of the hardest fully-rideable bridleways in the Lake District. Squint hard and you’ll see a Ragley hardtail smashing its way down the wild and loose lower section to Buttermere, which gives you a sense of the sheer scale of this awesome place.
