Big picture

The trail looks dreamy from my clifftop viewpoint, the late afternoon sunlight perfectly highlighting the serpentine bends snaking their way down the hill. Evening shadows creep up the hill calling an end to our shoot, so I pack my camera away and drop into the darkness behind Ben. The corners offer plenty of support and I take all the help I can get – the track is so much steeper than I thought. My front tyre scrabbles for grip, while the rear wheel skips along, barely touching the surface. I make it down unscathed, but it’s a close call. Good times!
