Say hello to the cream of 2019

MCN has been splashing pictures and information about the torrent of amazing new 2019 motorcycles across its news pages for the last few months, but now it’s almost time to see the class of 2019 in the flesh for yourself at Motorcycle Live. There’s nothing quite like seeing the freshest machines up close and personal. And, of course, you’ll be able to sit on most of the amazing metal featured here, press buttons, twiddle knobs, and make engine noises like a six -year-old as the excitement overwhelms your senses. There are more than 70 new models for 2019, but this is MCN’s top 40 must-see show picks. The variety is simply staggering, with everything from outrageous superbike homologation specials like Ducati’s Panigale V4 R and BMW’s S1000RR; right through to zippy 125s, insane threewheelers, and a deluge of retros. Headlining the current oldschool nostalgia train has to be Suzuki’s angular Katana, which will transport many showgoers straight back to 1981, but without the poor chassis dynamics or leaky carbs. There’s no lack of budget tempters, either. Bikes like Royal Enfield’s new 650s are well worth a look at under £6k a pop, while Norton’s new Atlas 650 twins are sure to draw a huge crowd.
