Connect the black jump lead to the negative terminal on the bike and then connect the other end to the car battery. It’s usual for this lead to spark a little when connected to the battery, this is the power from the full battery starting to charge the bike’s battery. If you have time, it’s worth leaving the leads connected for a few minutes to help boost the bike’s battery.
