Carrasco is a deserving champion
I'm afraid that I have to take serious issue with the letter regarding Ana Carrasco's considerable skill in winning her series (MCN, December 19). If the writer followed racing he would be aware that this new Supersport 300 category has had the rules revised at pretty much every round, mostly to Ana's disadvantage, and if he followed MotoGP he would have been very familiar with her obvious talents. She has lacked serious sponsorship throughout her career and I hope this deserved championship win will end that. To be so negative is to detract from a person who has triumphed over considerable adversity during her career and that is a poor show. Edward Ruddle, email
