What’s the voltage?

If the terminals are tight and your bike still won’t start, it’s time to check the battery voltage. A healthy battery should show at least 12.6 volts on a meter. Voltage drop can occur if an alarm or tracking device has slowly drained the battery, but any battery that can no longer hold charge should be replaced.
