Just like its bigger Adventure-badged brother (left), the headline change for the standard R1250GS for this year is the move to the new ShiftCam 1254cc unit and Connectivity dash, HSC and ASC as standard (it was a paid-for upgrade last year). The new engine also gets a knock sensor that means you can run on poor-quality fuel when you’re conquering thirdworld countries.
