VERSYS 1000 SE

-

1043cc inline-four 118.3bhp / 75.3ftlb 253kg (kerb) O£14,399

The Versys 1000 is a great adventure styled tourer and this new SE version looks set to be a great distance tool. Dripping in tech, it comes with electronically adjustable suspension, a bi-directional quickshifter, LED cornering lights and a full-colour TFT dash. It also has Bluetooth connectivity, so owners can adjust their suspension with their phone as well as see riding logs and service intervals via the Rideology app. Other features include heated grips, hand guards, a larger screen plus a 40w power point. The 1043cc inline four remains largely unchanged, barring a subtle tickle that includes electronic throttle valves, meaning Kawasaki have been able to fit electronic cruise control and an IMU to drive all the rider aids and suspension. The ABS has been treated to an upgrade and there’s radial calipers now, too.

The standard model costs £11,199.
