MULTISTRADA 950 S
937cc V-twin 111bhp / 70.8ftlb 230kg (kerb) £13,355
Ducati have updated the Multistrada 950 with a handful of new safety aids, as well as some styling tweaks for the New Year, but it’s the new S version that we’ve been waiting for. Arriving at a premium of £1600 over the stock bike, you get Ducati’s Skyhook electronic suspension, a bi-directional quickshifter, cornering lights, full LED headlight, 5in full-colour TFT dash, cruise control and backlight switchgear. You can also link to it via the Bluetooth multimedia system, allowing hands-free control.
The 950 now gets a six-axis Bosch IMU, bringing Cornering ABS, Vehicle Hold Control, and self-cancelling indicators. The Testastretta gets a self-servo hydraulic slipper clutch; the styling gets updated to include the wings from the bigger 1260, while the swingarm and wheels are lighter, too. The standard bike costs £11,755, and the spoked-rim S costs £13,905.
