The 690 SMC R is back with a new-gen LC4 engine, meaning improved power, torque and fuel consumption. And there’s a bigger fuel tank (up 1.5 litres to 13.5) that also acts as part of the chassis. It gets two rider modes (Street and Sport), cornering ABS, lean anglesensitive traction control, motor slip regulation (MSR) and Quickshifter+, as well as Supermoto ABS that allows the rear to slide while keeping the front under control. It’s had a minor visual makeover to complete the picture.
