McPhee delighted following private Sepang test
Petronas Honda rider John McPhee came away from his team’s private test at Sepang delighted with his progress. Working with a largely British crew, he says that their experience means that he will be much better prepared on track. “I made a big step on each of the three days, and my race pace was really good from day one. On day three I was able to pull a lap time out of the bag and then maintain a faster race pace, too, which is good overall. I tried not to focus too much on lap times and more on getting a good base setting because we know come the start of the season we’ll be fast.”
