Bultaco gone flat

Spanish electric bike manufacturer Bultaco have filed for bankruptcy protection. Revived in 2015, the brand was built around large ‘pedalec’ bikes with a 2000w electric motor capable of powering the bikes up to roughly 30mph. In 2017 they sold 1250 units, with sales generating £3.5m, but they currently owe £9.45m.
