Tearoom trip – 80 miles

Take the B1042, nip to Wendy and down to Bassingbourn. Skirt round Royston on the A505. Take the A11 north for one junction, on the A1307 drop down to Bartlow. Follow signs for Saffron Walden. Continue on lanes to Barley, south on the B1368 to Hare Street. Over to Buntingford, A 507 to Cumberlow Green, left to Walkern through to Stevenage and the A1 home.
