Tested by Jordan Gibbons for five months Unlike most waterproof jackets that are made of a cheap and flimsy material, the Trail Shell is made from a waterproof ripstop fabric specially designed by Adv Spec to stand up to the rough and ready adventure rider’s life. The jacket is reinforced with Kevlar on the shoulders, elbows and hips both to protect you and the jacket itself. It also has a foldaway hood, to keep you dry off the bike, plus underarm vents in case things get a bit steamy. In use it’s been excellent. I’ve used it on and off-road and it’s never let a drop in. For a waterproof over layer it’s undoubtedly expensive but I wouldn’t go anywhere without it now. Quality ★★★★★
