30 years of Honda Africa Twins

Thirty years ago when the first Africa Twin was a Dakar Rallywinning HRC special, the height of technology was the scrolling roadbook on the rider’s dash. Now, three new Africa Twins are coming for 2020 brimming with technology, from cornering ABS, to riding modes and an impressive full-colour 6.5in TFT screen. But there’s still plenty of analogue fun to be had with the ’90s 750cc version which can be picked up for as little as £4000.

What is it? There are three new 1100cc versions but if you’ve set your heart on crossing continents this big -tanked Adventure Sports is the one to have.
