Good to read that Ewan, Charley and their entourage have chosen to go electric on their latest trip. Let’s face it, riding in far-off places is not so much of a challenge today. Everywhere is so much more accessible and connected. A real challenge, however, is doing it with zero emissions. I think these guys, perhaps unintentionally, changed the face of biking in the UK when they set off on their first trip (the adventure class was just a niche before). My hope is that their publicity machine can do the same for electric bikes. They may even help bring on board younger riders who do not want to follow in the steps of their fossilfuelled elders.
