Made with a fibre shell and tripledensity inner protective layer, this lid has a fully removable and washable lining, double D-ring closure and comes with an anti-fog Pinlock insert. It’s got a similar ventilation system to that of the top-spec RX-7V, with a large intake duct on top of the helmet. After 4000 miles of use over a five-month period, MCN’s tester said it delivered everything you’d expect from a lid in terms of comfort, visibility, aerodynamic stability and good venting. The only minor quibbles being it’s not the quietest lid on the market and is slightly heavier than many. There are loads of different colour options at this price and it comes in sizes XS-XL.
