I love power but I'm not a psychopath
I take great issue with owner Brad Wendes’ statement in the Triumph Street Triple RS owners' review (MCN, May 20) that 121bhp is enough for the road and anyone who says they use more than that is either a liar or a psychopath. I am neither, but l certainly use more than 121bhp – my supercharged Hayabusa puts out 325bhp (as certified on the Junction 33 Dyno services dyno at Galgate in Lancashire). I wouldn't dream of telling people how much bhp they should use on the road, whether they ride a Honda 50 or one of the latest one-litre-plus superbikes. Biking is all about live and let live (or it should be) and l don't want to be told by anyone what, or how l should ride. That's one of the reasons why l ride a bike, it’s called freedom of expression.
