Big thanks as MCN YouTube channel records milestone subscriber figure
We’re thrilled to announce that the MCN YouTube channel has passed a quarter of a million subscribers, with tens of thousands more of you regularly tuning in to watch what we make. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for watching our videos, subscribing, and joining the conversation in the comments. Although, we’d also like to ask, if you’ve not subscribed, what are you waiting for?
Since MCN launched the channel back in 2007 we’ve accrued over five million hours of watch time and more than 225million views, detailing some of the fastest and most exotic bikes ever built. We’ve taught you key riding skills, reviewed the very latest new metal from the biggest manufacturers,
and have had rather a lot of fun along the way.
To celebrate this achievement, our very own Chief Road Tester and YouTube star Michael Neeves picks his top 10 videos of all time from the channel:
1 MCN’s guide to wheelies
“It might be an old video, but it’s still going strong after all this time. Everyone secretly wants to know how to pull wheelies, don’t they?”
2 £1500 Adventure Bike Challenge – Part 3
“One of the funniest MCN videos, featuring the legend that is former road tester Trevor Franklin.”
3 Yamaha OW-01 ridden
“They say you should never
meet your heroes but this one certainly didn’t disappoint.”
4 Ducati 1199 Panigale first ride
“This was a superbike gamechanger for Ducati. We used a huge boom stuck to my lid to get the
on-board footage – slightly precarious, but it worked!”
5 Ducati Panigale and BMW S1000RR go to Africa
“One of the best things I’ve done on a superbike - go from the UK to Africa to chase the winter sun. What an experience!”
6 Mercedes SLS AMG & Ducati 1198 SP from a biker’s point of view
“The longest running pub argument of them all: which is better, car or bike? I think we know the answer.”
7 Honda RC213V-S launch report
“Honda finally made the bike they
teased us with for all those years. Turn the sound up for this one.”
8 Padgetts Honda RC213V-S tested
“They’re like busses, these RCVs – this is Bruce Anstey’s fly-splattered TT bike at Cadwell, fresh from the island. Loved it.”
9 Ducati 1299 Superleggera world first ride
“Dream bikes don’t get more dreamy than this, especially around magical Mugello.”
10 BMW HP4 Race first ride
“Still one of the lightest, most powerful and capable superbikes ever made. We rode it at its launch in Estoril.”
