MotoGP Le Mans race preview: ‘Expect crashes and high drama’

Scrubbing off nearly 120mph in 239 metres in less than 4.3s means the entry to the Chemin Aux Bouefs Esses (turns 9 and 10) is one of the most favoured overtaking hot spots. It’s laden with pitfalls though, so pinpoint accuracy on the brakes is required. Run straight on and you get a post-race time penalty, and it’s easy to lose the front through turn 10 trying to pinch time with a tight line on the inside kerb.
