On the face of it the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R seems like it’s just been given a facelift, but dig a bit deeper under the new aero dynamically enhanced fairing and you discover that as well as a tweaked gearbox and lower gearing, the Ninja features revised chassis geometry, altered suspension, a TFT dash, sportier riding position and even cruise control as standard.
The Kawasaki has certainly enjoyed massive success on the track in the hands of Jonathan Rea (six World Superbike titles prove that), but these latest changes should also make it far more of a match for more refined rivals such as the Ducati Panigale V4, Yamaha R1 and Honda Fireblade.
