Not so distinguished
I have recently learned that many of this year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Rides will take place with the format being to ‘ride solo’ due to Covid 19. I find this hard to accept when I read of raves involving thousands of teenagers, and fans being allowed back into football. I was under the impression that the ride was intended to bring to the attention of the general public, prostate cancer and men’s mental health issues. How this can be achieved by one person on a rideout is beyond me, and I cannot understand why a group of motorcyclists riding for a worldwide cause, should be deemed more of a risk than a venue full of young people drinking.
