Tested by Simon Relph, 1500 miles/14 months Great for shorter local runs out the Resurgence Gear riding shirt is a great way of riding with the confidence of having protection while still looking cool, yet feeling warm. This is thanks to the shirt having a thermal lining for warmth and the 60% covering of Pekev material giving it its abrasion strength. Looking like the front just poppers up, there is in fact a zip behind to stop it opening. Both elbows and shoulders come with armour, mine originally came with an earlier type, stiffer armour which was too firm for comfort, so I swapped it for Oxford Dynamic protectors which was a big improvement. Resurgence Gear have also updated their latest version too, with D30’s IP Ghost armour and D30 Viper back protector now used instead.
