INDIAN SUMMER SCORCHERS
O Upgraded Scout Bobber and Roadmaster provide more bang for your buck
Although summer is nearly over, Indian have a few more surprises to get you out on to your dream bike before the end of the year.
A great Scout is always prepared
The ‘Twenty’ in Scout Bobber Twenty pays homage to the original 1920 Scout. With modern technology paired with strippeddown, minimalist Bobber style and a dose of classic heritage, you get the perfect blend of old-school design and modern function from £13,295. Plus, with wire wheels, mini-ape handlebars, and a lowprofile solo seat, it’s definitely a comfortable and stylish ride for aspiring and new riders because the Scout is A2 compliant. Indian are also adding to their already robust line of genuine Scout accessories in 2021. With all-new Scout touring parts, riders can turn their city cruiser into a capable long-haul touring machine. A Scout Bobber low or mid wind deflector helps protect you from the elements, while heated grips for all 2017-2021 Scout models keep your hands warm in cold weather. In addition, a new fairing bag and semi-rigid saddlebags add stylish storage options. Finally, a colour-matched quick-release fairing with a 50mm windshield is available for all Scout models in new 2021 colourschemes.
New to the fleet
New to the 2021 Indian Motorcycle line-up is the Roadmaster Limited starting from £26,495 with stacks of premium finishes and comfort. ClimaCommand Rogue heated and cooled seat, Ride Command with Apple CarPlay integration, Metzeler Cruisetec tyres, touring trunk, lower fairings with adjustable airflow vents, heated grips and a push-button adjustable windshield are all factory options on the Roadmaster Limited. Whereas remote-locking saddlebags and trunk, adjustable passenger floorboards, ABS, cruise control, keyless ignition, tyre pressure monitoring and full LED lighting come as standard.
Plug ’n’ play
For 2021 Apple CarPlay is now standard across the US company’s line-up, while Roadmaster Limited and Roadmaster
Dark Horse models feature Indian Motorcycle’s all-new ClimaCommand Rogue heated and cooled seat with Ride Command integration.
The seat is also available as an upgrade across all Thunderstroke models, and for 2021, it’s available in two styles – Classic and Rogue. Plus, the 2021 ClimaCommand seat now allows you to adjust heating and cooling directly through the Ride Command infotainment system on select 2020 and 2021 models. With a low, medium, or high setting, the thermoelectric technology is used to independently cool or heat both the rider and passenger seat, while a flexible graphene material allows the heating or cooling to disperse through the entire surface area of the seat. The non-perforated seat is 100% water-resistant and highly durable too.
But that’s not where the tech ends. The power buttons on the Chieftain, Roadmaster, Indian Springfield, and Indian Challenger models have moved to the switch cube on the handlebars to accommodate a new 12-volt charge port on the dash.
The charge port conveniently provides you with an opportunity to plug in and connect to a wider range of electronics.
