The weather is getting better, restrictions are being eased and it definitely feels like the riding season is upon us – at last. When you’re deciding where to ride to, remember to add Vertu to your list of destinations.
Join the club
If there’s one thing Vertu understand about bikers, it’s that they like a hot drink and a cob. In fact, you can get them for free if you ride out to one of the monthly Vertu Motorcycle Club meets.
From April to October on the first Saturday of every month, from 10am-noon, club members are welcome to come and enjoy a free coffee and hot roll and meet their fellow bikers.
It’s an excuse to get out on your bike knowing that there will be a warm welcome (and drink) when you arrive. There’s lots of parking and any rider is welcome.
The Vertu Motorcycle Club is probably the easiest club to join, simply pop into one of our dealerships and sign up, or visit vertumotors.com/vmc and put your details in.
As well as the club meets, members get discounts on clothing (including helmets and boots) and accessories. Club members even get a free neck tube to keep stylish and warm.

Destination Vertu
The Vertu Honda Nottingham superstore has the newly reopened Cafe 93, now under the expert watch of Franco. He’s created a delicious menu from breakfasts to hearty lunches and, if you have a sweet tooth, desserts such as Anna’s tiramisu are not to be missed. Inside you can browse the latest Hondas and upstairs you can find clothing, helmets and more to use your discount on.
Over at Grantham you’ll find Floyd’s Food Trailer. Behind the counter you’ll meet Bev, who takes great pride in keeping Vertu Honda Grantham well fed. As well as all the cafe classics, if you head over on a Friday you’ll find offmenu hot specials like homemade curry or chilli.
Once you’ve had a coffee, take a while to look round the 2022 Honda bikes on display. Vertu Honda Bikes Grantham is also one of only 14 specialist Gold Wing dealers, so you can find out all about Honda’s flagship tourer.
