PIDCOCK MOTORCYCLES HAVE GOT YOU COVERED

Whatever style of bike – or kit – you’re interested in, make Pidcock your destination

-

Alot has happened in the world of Pidcock Motorcycles recently. New models, awards aplenty, a whole new brand, and even a new annual event for customers. But of course, we still offer a vast range of models and finance options – and we endeavour to have a deal to suit all riders, on all sorts of bikes.

Getting on track

Back in July, we held our first ever trackday experience at the Darley Moor Sports Centre in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The response was overwhelming, and our customers loved being able to take their bikes for a spin on a real racetrack. We wanted to make sure that this was an experience for riders of all abilities – not just experienced, professional racers. All brands were present, and we had many guest stands from the likes of Klim, Shoei Servicing, and more. We also offered trackside photography, included in the ticket price by Pidcock themselves in partnership with local photographer Cheryl McCluskey (Instagram @cherylminimanic).

BMW brilliance

We’ve witnessed the launch of some excellent new bikes including the new K1600 from BMW. It’s been updated for 2022 with Euro5 compliance, more torque, a new dash, selflevelling preload, a back-torque limiter and lots of electronics and functionality tweaks. These enhancements are on top of its superb steering agility and dynamic handling. The dynamic new BMW CE04 was also unleashed upon the urban mobility scene this year, as a serious rival to petrol-powered alternatives. It’s worth test riding, as it’s packed with style and tech, and its instant torque will certainly shock even the most hardened electric naysayers. It’s not at all surprising that’s it’s been awarded MCN’s Best Urban Electric award. Find out more at www.pidcock.com or call 0115 946 2233 to book your test ride.

It’s a Triumph!

Meanwhile, the new 2022 Tiger 1200 range from Triumph has been vastly improved upon with more power, new engines, new frames, new suspensions, and less weight across the board. Hardcore adventurers will love these improvements, which are well worth experiencing first-hand before your next trip. If you fancy something equally as practical and exciting, but a little more affordable, the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 has you covered. This superb all-rounder has impressed the MCN judges, with its all-day

comfort and excellent build, and has been named Best Overall Bike of the Year 2022. Italian adventures

Another adventurer has arrived over the horizon. The DesertX by Ducati – winner of MCN’s Best Adventure Bike this year - is an all-new model with an evolved 937cc Testastretta engine unit that’s 1.7kg lighter. It’s a bike that’ll handle extremely well on and off the roads, with a total of six riding modes, (two of which are for off-road). The incredible Streetfighter V2 and Panigale V4 S have also made jaws drop with their amazing handling and performance, being crowned MCN’s Best Sub1000cc Naked and Best Sportsbike respectively. On top of these, our Ducati Nottingham branch was recently named Dealer of the Year 2021 for the central England territory. A superb achievement for our branch representing MCN’s Manufacturer of the Year 2022. You can rest assured that our award-winning team are dedicated to helping you find the right motorcycle for you. A Zero hero

The awards don’t stop there either. MCN has crowned the Zero SR/S as Best Electric 2022. Its superior range and charging time make electric power as viable as ever. It’s fun, breezy, and running costs are lower than you’d expect. Earlier in the year we even created a custom Zero SR/S in a PHANTOM BLACK paint scheme with unique graphics/lettering. Currently Zero don’t sell an all-black version of their electric motorcycles, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to own something truly special and oneof-a-kind! Electric motorcycles have gathered more attention than ever, with their low-tono maintenance, low running costs, instant torque, and rapid charging. All these advantages, plus Zero having extended their 0% finance deals until the end of October 2022, mean a Californian electric motorcycle from Zero could be your ideal machine.

Pidcock welcomed a new brand into the family as well - the Italian made Energica range of premium electric motorcycles. More models are on order, and we can’t wait for you to try them.
