STEP INSIDE AT SHIRLAWS MOTORCYCLES

Award-winning Aberdeen dealership is going from strength-to-strength

-

The last twelve months have been a whirlwind of growth and success for Shirlaws Motorcycles. It was just over a year ago in early 2021 that Shirlaws were bought by Gillanders Motors Ltd based in Peterhead. The investment made has seen a brand-new site built at Wellington Circle, in Alten, Aberdeen. It was opened in February this year where the dealership was dual branded to incorporate MG cars as well. This complements the Kia and MG brands also found in Peterhead under the Gillanders name.

Franchises for the motorcycle side of the business have increased from the Kawasaki and Triumph stalwarts to now also include KTM, and more recently CF Moto. With even more brands under their roof, Shirlaws are now able to claim to not only hold a huge selection of new and used motorcycles as well as parts and accessories, as well

as having the largest motorcycle clothing store in Scotland.

Having won the MCN Motorcycle Multi Franchise Dealer of Year award for 2022, everyone at Shirlaws is overjoyed to accept the accolade which in no small part is testament to the blood, sweat and tears put in by everyone to make this family-run business proud of its achievements.

The team has worked tirelessly throughout the year to exceed customers’ expectations as at the end of the day it’s the customers who make everything possible and the Group have a fantastic loyal customer base, who they also want the opportunity to thank for their continued support.

Shirlaws would also like to extend their thanks to the manufacturers they represent for their ongoing support through launching some truly exceptional products.

Shirlaws Motorcycles have been run by bikers for bikers since 1928, it’s in our blood. And the awardwinning team are not sitting on their laurels – there are still exciting expansion and growth plans in the works, so watch this space!
