Pecco Bagnaia MotoGP World Champion

Pecco Bagnaia showed his class once more in a tense fight with Jorge Martin to become back-to-back MotoGP World Champion. He’s only the third rider to achieve that feat in the modern era, following Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez, and the first Italian to successfully defend the crown since Rossi back in 2009.

Tommy Bridewell BSB Champion

Tommy Bridewell claimed an emotional maiden British Superbike title after an intense season-long duel with BeerMonster Ducati teammate, Glenn Irwin. The pair could not be separated on the track, whilst a war of words ensued off it. Bridewell clinched the title by half-a-point and dedicated his success to his late brother, Ollie Bridewell.

Alvaro Bautista WSBK World Champion

The Ducati-Bautista combination was unstoppable once again in 2023 as the Spaniard successfully defended his crown. The stats don’t lie, with the former MotoGP racer breaking Ducati and championship records here, there and everywhere. Bautista won 17 of the opening 19 races, going on to record a total of 27 wins from 36 races.

Peter Hickman Senior TT Race Winner

Peter Hickman remains the man to beat around the Isle of Man. The FHO Racing BMW ace added four more wins to his TT tally in 2023, taking him to 13 overall. Hickman was victorious in both Superstock races, the second Supertwin event and, of course, the Senior TT. Not only that, Hickman also set a new outright lap record of 136.358mph on his Superstock machine.

Michael Dunlop Four 2023 TT Race Wins

Michael Dunlop is now just one victory away from equalling Uncle Joey Dunlop’s all-time record of 26 TT wins, after winning four races around the island in 2023. Dunlop stood on the top step in both Supersport races, as well as the Superbike and Supertwin events.

Jake Dixon First Moto2 victories

British racer Jake Dixon took a huge step forwards in Moto2 last year when he bagged his maiden Grand Prix victory at Assen and repeated the feat at Barcelona. Three further podiums capped off a great year in which Dixon finished fourth overall, only eight points off a spot inside the top three. Dixon will look to keep this momentum going and put a title challenge together in 2024.
